More about me...

I was born in Warner Robins, Georgia. As a kid living in the 80’s, I was raised by a single mom. That meant I had a lot of time to spend with my imagination. My childhood—like my life now—was bursting with creativity. Saturday mornings, I’d spend in front of the TV with a bowl of cereal, watching cartoons. On schooldays, I’d read a lot. Everything from kid’s books and graphic novels to adult thrillers, and everything in between. I remember connecting with classics like Charlotte’s Web, being thrilled by Goosebumps, and feeling spine-tingles with Stephen King novels. English class was my favorite because it got my creative juices flowing. Right out of high school, I joined the Army.

I currently live in Blue Springs, Missouri with my family. Now, when I’m not writing stories, I draw and produce music—creativity is a huge part of my life and something I practice every day.
